After Care

Aftercare plays a major role in the longevity of a treatment, particularly tinting, henna and eyelash extensions.

If you fail to care for your fresh brows or lashes, then the result may not be as long lasting as what it could potentially be.

Brows Aftercare

1 – Do not wet your brow area for a minimum of 24 hours. This will allow the tint/henna to set on the skin and will ensure the skin stain is visible for as long as possible.

2 – Avoid exfoliation of the brow area post treatment.

3 – Avoid facial services within 7 days post treatment. This includes (but is not limited to) facials, IPL, skin needling, microdermabrasion etc .

4 – If having a spray tan post brow treatment, cover the brows in a small amount of oil to protect the colour. Spray tanning over freshly coloured brows can cause a chemical reaction and they may turn green.

5 – When cleansing the face, be sure to wash around the brow area, not over it.

These tips should ensure longer lasting brows.

Lashes Aftercare

1 – Avoid getting your lashes wet on the day of the application.

2 – Avoid excess hot steam from shower, saunas or kitchens.

3 – Avoid excess moisture and hydrogen for the first four hours after application.

4 – Do not pick at your lashes in the first 24 hours and for the duration of the wear of your lash extensions.

5 – AFTER 24 HOURS – Wash and brush your lashes daily with oil free face washing cleanser, this will keep your lash line healthy and clean.

6 – Use oil free face moisturizers and sun screen if possible as water based products will prolong the life of your lashes.

7 – If you go swimming in salt water, cry, or sweat a lot please rinse yours lashes with fresh water as soon as possible afterwards.

8 – Don’t rub your lashes with a towel, just pat dry.

9 – Try sleeping on your back so the side lashes are not crushed on your pillow at night.

These tips should ensure longer lasting Lashes.
